The Impact Walls
A Place for the Room to Think Out Loud.
Built as part of a larger leadership and training experience, the Impact Walls transformed reflection prompts into physical, participatory environments. Guests were invited to write responses, pin them to the wall, read what others had shared, & leave behind a visible record of the ideas, failures, choices, and lessons moving through the room.
Client: Koch Industries Project: Impact Walls
Category: Interactive training environment,
participatory installation, custom scenic display
What We Led: Concept development, production design, scenic fabrication, custom millwork, material direction, participant interaction design, signage/graphic integration, styling, installation
Dreamhouse designed and fabricated the walls as warm, substantial scenic objects: oak surrounds, oversized writing surfaces, red pin systems, integrated ledges, leather trays, branded response cards, pens, and simple styling details that made the interaction feel intentional rather than obligatory.
Where the Decision Engine made decision-making visible through motion, the Impact Walls made it visible through participation, turning a training prompt into something collective, tactile, and human.
